Multisig Wallet
Additional transaction security through multisig support for compatible assets and workflows.
How multisig protects your Bitcoin
A multisig wallet splits control of your Bitcoin between several keys and requires a quorum — for example, two out of three — to approve any transaction. A single stolen phone or leaked backup is no longer enough to move the funds, which makes multisig the standard for serious savings, company treasuries and shared family funds.
Typical setups pair keys across devices and people: one key on your phone, one on a hardware wallet in a safe, one held by a trusted partner. Lose any single key and you can still transact; an attacker who finds one key gets nothing. Guarda coordinates the signing flow so cosigners can review and approve transfers without sharing private material.
Multisig is slightly less convenient than a single-key wallet — every spend needs coordination — but for amounts you cannot afford to lose, that friction is the entire point. Start with a 2-of-3 scheme: it survives one lost key and one compromised key at the same time.
Frequently asked questions
Three keys exist, but any two of them are enough to sign. Lose one key and you keep full access.

With a 2-of-3 setup the remaining two key holders can still move funds and rotate to a new scheme.
